An initial consult is required prior to beginning any training program. In a 90-minute initial consult, we will review and prioritize your goals, answer your questions and get everyone started off on the right foot… or paw.
Home School Programs
Home School is like having a personal doggy tutor. During lessons we will teach, practice, and proof new behaviors for you, then send you Pawgress Reports. Once weekly review lessons in your home are when we show you how to maintain those new behaviors, and are key to this learning process! You will still have homework, we’re just cutting that work in half.
Both program examples below are built to cover 30 lessons across the course of two to three months, plus additional refresher/follow-up lessons to be used as you need them.
Home School consists of lessons throughout the week where our trainer comes to your home (like a dog walker) to work directly with your dog while you’re away (you’re welcome to join the at-home lessons if you’re home and you’d like)!
Pawsitive Foundations Home School
Your dog might be lacking manners, but that’s about it. Since they’re not causing big problems, training just seems to get pushed to the side, swept under the rug. Where did the hours go?!?
This option is perfect for you.
In addition to teaching your dog their starter foundation skills, in each lesson we’ll also play with your pup and take them out to go to the bathroom. It’s so much easier for your dog to retain information learned in their familiar home environment, so you’ll see reliable results more quickly than with a board and train program that lacks the in-home context your dog needs!

20 in-home lessons
8 review lessons (with you)
2 follow-up lessons (whatever you need!)
Curriculum includes:
•Foundational Skills such as sit, down, come, stay, leave it, drop it, etc.
•Basic Leash Walking Skills
•Impulse Control
•Stationing/Go to place
•Appropriate greetings with guests and new people

Adventure Academy Day Training
Always wanted a pup you could trust to go just about anywhere with you on your adventures and weekend brunches? Wish your dog could lead a more active life right by your side?
This option was made for you.
In the first two weeks, your dog will get a combo of in-home lessons and out-n-about adventures. They'll start with proofing some foundational skills to set them up for success, and then spend the rest of the program fine-tuning their manners out in public. We’ll visit parks, dog-friendly patios, restaurants, and stores, as well as go on hikes (weather and safety permitting)!

•Recall Work
•Appropriate Leash Behavior
